Our current activities include producing a monthly newsletter for the social services sector in Christchurch, administration of the voluntary sector Supervision Project, support for the collaborative Structural Poverty Group, regular fora on topics of interest to the sector, lobbying and submissions on central and local government social policy.
STRUCTURAL POVERTY GROUP Christchurch Otautahi
COSS Christchurch is the contact for the Structural Poverty Group, which works to raise awareness of and promote ways to address the structural causes of poverty. The group organises the Musical Chairs Seminars and recently produced a series of posters highlighting different facets of structural poverty. Membership is open and we welcome your participation. Please contact the COSS office if you would like to be part of this work or to know more.
